Andrée Grenier

Aldor and Andrée Grenier opened their dance school in 1970. This school has been one of the largest dance school in the country.

Both of them have received professional dance diplomas of:

  • Fédération des Loisirs Danse du Québec (CPDDSQ) – social dancing
  • Canadian Dance Teachers Association (CDTA) – international dancing
  • Canadian Dancesport Federation (CDF) – international dancing

École de danse Grenier has two dance schools, one located on the South shore in Varennes since 1970 and a second one in the West Island in Pierrefonds since 1972. Aldor and Andrée were the trainers and choreographers of many formation teams and represented Canada at five Team formation World Championship in Europe.

They achieved the 7th place twice with more than 30 teams in competition from all across the world.  It has been a great challenge. In May 2002, the team “LA RELÈVE”, made of kids from 8 to 15 years old, won the gold medal at the Provincial championship.

They have received an award from the town of Varennes to thank them for making their citizens dance since 25 years (1995) and a award from the recognition club of CDTA: “Dance pioneer” (2001).
